It’s been a spectacular season for the boys from Rose City.
Timbers2 earned their best regular-season finish in club history, collecting 57 points and finishing second in the Western Conference with a 14W-10D-4L record.
The historic campaign gave Jack Cassidy and Co. not only their first-ever MLS NEXT Pro playoff appearance, but also the opportunity to open the postseason on their home turf.
Timbers2 will host St Louis CITY2 on October 16 at Providence Park (10 PM ET | MLSNEXTPro.com, OneFootball) in their historic playoff debut.

Player spotlight
It’s tough to highlight just one player on a Timbers2 side loaded with talent.
Nicklas Lund, Sam Joseph, and Eric Izoita all earned 2026 MLS NEXT Pro Best XI honors for their outstanding play this season.
But T2’s success has been a team effort, with Daniel Cervantes contributing 11 goals, Noah Santos adding four, and Lucas Hernandez-Kim chipping in four assists.
That depth has been one of Timbers2’s biggest strengths all season and could prove even more valuable come playoff time.
